Sh...Happy New Year!

So I'm thinkin I might need a little "Mini Tia" after all in the house! The only noise we we're ringing in the New Year with was 3 snoring boys! All of my boys were out by 10:30pm and I was up alone toasting to myself:) We usually do the family party scene or neighborhood bash but it was actually really nice to stay home in sweats this year. We got a gift card for Christmas from our family the Horlachers to Target, so today we used it on "Just Dance 2" the Wii game! It was a riot! Andy is HILARIOUS!!! I've never seen him move so fast in so many directions at once:) And his facial expressions are superb! So that's the reason for the silent New Years Celebration. After 3 hours of that game you'd be tired too! Major was just excited we were so willing to play the Wii for a long time! We wore him out too! So Just maybe this silent New Year has convinced me we need another little girl around........hm.....?

4 Teeth and Counting.....

At 6 months our Llttle Legend is on a roll with his "pearly whites." He started getting his 1st tooth a couple weeks ago and what ya know here come's the rest!!! Too bad he can't eat anything still with those chompers he's still too young. Legend is still not officially crawling , just scooting himself where ever his brother goes.

Silly Major at Aunty Tonyas!

Thanks to Majors Dad and his older cousins Jaden and Trevor, he loves to "Fight" or "Play boom boom" he thinks it's another form of playing! His face is so funny when he thinks he's fighting. I can't wait till he can be involved in sports to get all his energy out! He has such a BIG personality to go along with his BIG stature!

Ok, so i'll take the Blame for half the silly stuff Major does.....BUT some of this stuff he comes up with all on his own! Or maybe he watches too much Tyra Banks! Grandma Tonya was snapping pictures of Maj and we told him to "smile with your eyes" just for the heck of it, and this is what he came up with all on his own! This kid is a crack up! He's always surprising us and making us laugh with the things he comes up with!

ZUMBA!!!

When I was about 8 months pregnant with Legend, Latisha my sista talked me into going to this zumba aerobic class at The Warehouse here in St.George. Let me tell you my 1st time I was a train wreck!!! Seriously, even with all my years of dancing and teaching you would have thought i had never heard a beat in my life. Everyone is a regular and knows the routines to each song that they do and when a new comer comes in, especially 8 months pregnant it's a sight to see:) Well being the type of person I am with the "I dont't care what people think" attitude that I've got, I've stuck it out and now I am a ZUMBA MASTA!!!! Ok , hahaha not really, OK not at all!!! But I have really grown to love it and love the fact that I get to dance like a total maniac and its OK! The Warehouse makes it totally great because it's dark with strobe lights, so nobody is watching you shake your thang thang, no mirrors, to see your crazy self and, an awesome instructor who actually can dance who you aspire to Zumba like:) So if you haven't tried it , I suggest you take your girls nights to Zumba night at the Warehouse instead of the Chili's or Applebee's. You'll thank me later! It's the best!!!! Remember you can't be a pro the 1st time you gotta keep going:)

Christmas Day

Christmas Day! 3pm we headed to my bother Max's house for food, games and family time! It was a Blast although we did miss The Horlachers and Adam's family:( My family is so crazy and fun no matter how old we all get we are still up to play with the kids. We walked to the park and played games, Andy and I decided we HAVE to get a tether ball, it was soo much I've never felt so uncoordinated in my life! Andy had a good laugh! We also played signs and murder in the dark with my parents , yes their rad! Party with the AhQuins always consists of games and food!

Christmas Morning

This Christmas, Santa was very nice to us this year, we all must have been extra good! I don't know who was more excited Andy or Major.....um Andy! He was so cute , I woke up at 2am to do the Santa thing and he beat me to it already! I've never met a man so momm-ily! Major woke up at his usual 5am ........so that's what time we opened gifts! It was fun and took us all a minute to wake up but we did. Major and Legend were both of coursed spoiled by Santa with toys, books and clothes and a tent hut thing that I think I like more than him:) Major kept saying "more more presents" He had a blast! Christmas is the best with kids.
Every year Andy builds something special and heart felt for me. So I knew he was going to do something this year so I was thinkin with my sista Latisha and we decided that I would frame his college football jersey in a case thingy...but the only person I know who builds those so beautifully is.....my Andy:) lol yes , you guessed it I tricked him into building his own present! Am I good , or am I good? or messed up?! lol So I told him Latisha wanted 2 jersey frames built for her husband for Christmas, which wasn't a whole lie , 1 was for her and the other was for Andy. I did a pretty good job at keeping it a secret, I think he had a sniff but he still acted surprised when he got it! It was a good Christmas...We did miss our Stokes family that morning though:)
OK, so my heartfelt, thoughtful husband built me a gorgeous vintage trunk! Every female in our Stokes family has one! So It was my turn! Every girl needs a trunk for her valuables:) it is gorgeous and not like any other trunks! I love it!

Christmas Eve Traditions.

As Major is getting older and now having another kid this Christmas it's time to get the traditions rollin. I love the memories that traditions make for families! So Christmas eve we made Santa homemade tollhouse chocolate chip cookies hahah :) Im no Betty Crocker, so I don't pretend to be:)! We listened to the nativity story by Andy and opened our PJ's and family Christ-mas gift. It was so neat and crazy to see my little family do things that I did when I was younger and now I have young ones of my own. I can't wait for many more years of Christmas to come!

When cousins come to play

Growing up close to all my cousins was the best!!! I have 3 boy cousins that are my same age and 1 girl cousin who is a few years younger than me and we are all really close and share alot of fun memories. As a mama I want the same for my kids. We love having cousins over to play , it's always a treat and gives my kids a break from me:)
